Emily wanted only one thing to show her family that she could be as good as her relatives. Chasing vamps is what they always did to save the
humans and keep it secret. Since her father died ,her mother has been over protective and wants Emily to live a normal life but all Emily
knows is fighting. Along with her childhood human friend who learns of their family secret after he realizes he is in love with her the
family gets to see for themselves that Emily is capable of many things.
I enjoyed reading Rival, it was fast paced and teaches you to go after what you want and believe in.
