Blood by K.J. Wignall

Will is a really old Vampire who hibernates and wakes up randomly, someone prepares for him a room to live in under a church. He doesn't know who or why so he searches to find out. He must feed so he uses those that won't be missed like homeless people. He comes across a man named Jex who speaks to him of things about himself . As Will is killing him he tells Will he needs to save a girl and gives him a diary the girls picture is in it tells him the name of a person who is evil . Will sets out to find the girl and the person who made him a monster or gave him the sickness. Eloise is her name and Will saves her from some young boys who are harrassing her. He eventually has to tell her what he is and she wants to become just like him. Together they set out with some help from two other people to find the one who made Will a vampire fighting demons along the way. Finally Will comes face to face with his maker and doesn't get any answers before he has to kill him. He does find out there is a evil being that is more powerful in the world that has seen something in Will that made him seek him out . Eloise is also part of the puzzle and part of Will's destiny. She has the other half of the pendant that Will's maker had around his neck. Will was told by the Women who were accused of being witches and burned that the evil one will approach him and William will do evil . There is a wizard involved some how named Wyndham . He approaches one of the boys that harrassed Eloise and is training him for something . Wyndham believes that Will of Mercia is evil.

There were flahbacks explaining how Will became bitten during the burning of the witches. I couldn't understand why he would hibernate or why he was turned into a vampire and left alone for all those years. The witches and Wyndham seem to think Will is evil yet to me he doesn't seem to be and Eloise sure does trust him. He doesn't kill for the fun of it. I sure would like to know the answers I hope there will be another book. Kind of leaves too many unanswered questions just when it was starting to get good.

Catching Fire by Suzanne Collins

I couldn't put it down . Someone told me its a kids book. SO WHAT. I really didn't find anything kid about it. The characters here sure had to face grown up situations to me. As much as I adore all of them I realize they are not going to live but you just can't help wanting them to. I can't imagine having to go through life living the way they did. Not just being hungry or living poor but having to get back in the games and actually kill the people you know some what . It reminds me of the Olympics yet with no medals you have sponsors yet its not laser tag or paint ball .Here thinking if you survive you are free but your really never free or are they. Now its on to the next book. Just have to know. It can't be an all nighter like Catching Fire was though I have work tomorrow.

This is the second book in the Hunger Games series . Will explain more but just have to start reading sorry can't help it. Yes then I am like a little kid.

Second Grave on the Left by Darynda Jones

I was excited when I won this book from Goodreads. I tried reading it slowly on my way back and forth to work. But had to finish it when I got home today. I loved the humor , Lethal Weapon is a favorite of mine. The way she named her body parts was funny. Can't wait to find out how Garrett is doing or how mad Reyes really is . Wonder what kind of mess she will get herself into next.Sure did change the way everyone had me thinking the Grim Reaper looked like. Evilness. Not happy and crossing over. I thought the book was Juicy.

I also read First Grave on the Right before this book I enjoyed that book also.
